Vivian Akyereh Ankrah – Founder & Executive Director

An ardent believer in the potential of women, Vivian Akyere Ankrah, has been motivating, encouraging and support women and young children for some years now. She believes that everyone needs an opportunity to live a better life. She has always maintained that women and children are the focal point in every family, just as they are also vulnerable and so need all the support they can get to be the best they can be. Vivian runs the Smile on faces foundation in Accra, touching and impacting many lives, particularly with the December to remember impact project every Christmas season. Vivian also works with MTN as Quality assurance supervisor where she manages quality control across a wide spectrum for the company. She has a first degree in sociology and an Executive MBA all from University of Ghana, Legon. She resides in Accra with her husband Albert Ankrah and her Children Alvina and Jude Ankrah .

Albert Ankrah – Board Member

Albert Ankrah is the Executive Director for Ghana Gulf Chamber of Commerce, a chamber of commerce with focus on UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman. GGCCC puts local businesses in contact with each other and with businesses in the Gulf countries thus allowing both sides to benefit from each other’s context and opportunities. Albert Ankrah, is also a TV personality and has hosted various TV programs such as Educational Diaries and SDF Diaries just to mention a few. He graduated from Central University College with a degree in Business Administration, Human resource option and has completed a Master’s programme in Development, Democracy, Governance and Law from the University of Cape Coast. He has also completed an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy from Maastricht School of Management (MSM) in the Netherlands.

Rebecca Tettey – Deputy Executive Director

REBECCA TETTEY, is a board member of the foundation. Currently, she works with the Food and Drugs Authority, Ghana as a senior regulatory officer. She holds a first degree in Zoology from the University of Ghana and a second degree in microbiology from the College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana. She is a devout Christian and has a quiet disposition but of strong character. She loves reading, writing short stories, watching football, movies and listening to Christian music.

Dr. Bright Adu – Management Team

Dr. Bright Adu holds a BSc. and an MPhil both in Biochemistry from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. As a scientist, he specializes in the area of immunology and genetics and has keen interest in diseases affecting young children. He currently works as a Research Fellow at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, University of Ghana. Dr. Adu is married and loves to go for walks in the evenings with the love his life, reading, listening to Christian music and watching football.

Mrs Araba Incoom Adu – Management Team

Mrs Araba Incoom Adu, holds an Msc. degree in Food Quality Management and a first BSc. degree in Food Science from the from the Kwame University of Science and Technology. She works as a food scientist in a state-owned institution. She is married to Dr. Bright Adu. She is open-minded and eager to learn. She has keen interest in photography and loves to listen to music in her free time.
