Christmasfest 2021 was held on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at Dedeiman, a farming community in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. As usual, the Smile on Faces Foundation (SOFF) put smiles on the faces of the entire community through the kind support and donations of friends, family, and partners.
A line-up of activities engaged in were: door-to-door and onsite evangelism in collaboration with Mission for Christ (a nondenominational Christian evangelistic group), distribution of over 50 hampers containing provisions to widows and single mothers, and used clothing and shoes.
Also, SOFF, through its livelihood support programme, equipped 150 community members, comprising men and women, with skills in the making of pastries such as spring-rolls, cupcakes, and crafts such as bead making, fascinators, liquid soap, and mushroom farming. The children were blessed with the Good News about Christ and were feted; each received toys, biscuits, and drinks. The programme was successful and we give glory to God Almighty for making it possible for us to impact lives once again and for divine provision.
We thank our friends, family, partners, and community leaders for making it possible. In all, it was a great time. We impacted a lot of lives. Catch a ride with the SOFF team to the next community soon!
