Dear Friends,
Welcome to Smile on Faces Foundation (SOFF). This is a Christian non-denominational, charitable organization which seeks to spread the gospel of Christ through social interventions like capacity building, skills development, health care, education and feeding programs.
The main objective of this organization is to better the lives of the vulnerable and the needy in society especially women and children by giving them emotional, educational, health and financial support and also sharing the gospel of Christ with them.
We created this NGO because of we want to give an opportunity to help the poor children and women in Ghana to have a good life in their future. We also want to reduce the poverty in their families and in their communities. These aims should primarily be accomplished through education.
To develop the capabilities of children and women, we need to help them to build the culture of hope, trust and healthy relationship among people across Ghana. Helping them to evolve more confidence and critical thinking, they can go on to the second step, taking an active role in developing their communities.
To this end we come to you this day with one goal, to share our love and care, which we have received from the people that God blessed us with along the way. Our desire to put a smile on the faces of the poor and vulnerable in society and to give an equal opportunity in life, gave birth to Smile on faces foundation.
This foundation which is existing is purely God led and we are just the care takers. Since we are not the owners, indeed God has founded it and poured out in our heart and now we are obedient to this call. We cannot run this mission unless, we ourselves do have love for one another and show compassion on others, to those who really need our support and help.
Smile on Faces Foundation has prepared women to take responsibility to become peer educators for their society. They have gained the knowledge and skills to affirm human value in their lives, families and communities.
Through Smile on faces foundations programs, future leaders expand their minds, skills and friendship with trust, cooperation and enthusiasm. We help build the strong team and solidarity among children and women that cross barriers of mistrust and ethnicity and provide a safe space for children and women to express themselves.
We are very grateful for the support that we get from many individuals and Corporates that make our work possible. We always welcome support offered in any way, if you are youths, please feel free to visit us and join our activities at any time. Our prayer is that you will be our friend and help us to touch more lives and share christ with others. We are here to carry on with his work.
